In many cases, that projection is self-serving for the advisor because it's designed to help sell an insurance, investment or annuity product.
As an independent, fee-only, fiduciary, my advice will never be used to steer you toward a product sale. We will start with a thorough analysis of your current financial position. Then we will work together to capture every opportunity the analysis reveals to make reaching your financial goals easier. This involves working with your advisory team of CPA's, attorneys, insurance advisors, real estate consultants and bankers to communicate, create and implement the plan. In most cases, we serve as the quarterback for our client's advisory team to ensure a coordinated approach to their wealth management.
