As a single mother I understand firsthand that all financial plans are not created equal. Not long ago I found myself struggling to care for my dying mother and raise two boys at the same time. My personal experience taught me that no one should ever have to worry about the costs of aging and long-term care or sacrifice retirement years due to poor planning or assuming that the status quo is going to be enough. No matter what stage of life it is never too soon to start goal-setting and planning, whether it be for college savings, long-term care, or retirement.
Your plan should be based on your story, and I look forward to hearing yours.
