I'm a Chattanooga, Tennessee based professional editorial and commercial photographer specializing in portrait, corporate, and event photography. I worked as a photographer at newspapers in Kentucky and Texas before relocating to Chattanooga to tell the daily stories of my home town.
I spent six and a half years as a staff photographer at the Chattanooga Times Free Press, where I was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. With a decade of experience in journalism, I have an affinity for building relationships which allows for intimate and personal visual storytelling. As a native of the South, I have a personal connection to the communities and issues I photograph which fuels ethical and empathetic photography of a complicated and diverse region of the U.S.
I also put my photographic skillset to work for corporate and commercial clients who understand the value of a seasoned visual communicator in telling their brand's story. I offer on-location professional headshots and portraits as well as narrative-driven product, environmental and on-the-job imagery tailored to meet the needs of businesses.
